Hi, I'm Jane, founder of Pet First Aid. I love animals and over the years have had many varieties: dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, mice and a lizard.
I currently have 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, a bearded dragon and a hamster - the joys of having a 9yr old son.
I set up Pet First Aid to encourage pet care professionals and pet owners to be the very best that they can be and look after their animal friends the best they can. Knowing how to carry out first aid on your pet, should they ever need it, gives you extra confidence as an owner and a sense of pride.
I was a teacher of A level and GCSE students for almost a decade and recently left to concentrate on the world of pets, pet owners and pet care professionals. I have now combined my two passions - teaching and animals, which makes me very happy.
I am a fully qualified teacher, and registered with the Education Workforce Council and hold current DBS certifcation. I have Safeguarding Children qualificationas and of course, am a fully qualified pet first aid instructor and am fully insured. I provide UK accredited first aid and endorsed certification to my first aid learners. I am a ProTrainings certified canine, feline and pet First Aid centre and instructor.
